Violet

1 - 8 Jun

Violet is a bad person. Or so she has always been told. A problematic teenager turned failing adult, her life was defined by broken bonds, forgotten birthdays and lost time. But all that is about to change.

If only her sister would pick up the phone.

A new play unveiling one woman’s fractured world living with Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Elvira is a producer excited by literary and visual storytelling. She is a graduate of Durham University, where she led Pitch Productions, worked as Marketing Assistant of The Assembly Rooms Theatre and produced work across eight Durham-based theatre companies. She currently interns at Jermyn Street Theatre and is looking forward to joining DEM Productions as their Production Assistant this summer.

Duration: 45 minutes

Violet features strong language, references to suicide and sexual assault of a minor and themes of mental illness.
