VIEW Festival 2025 - Fundraising Campaign

We are the 2024/25 cohort of Mountview’s MA Creative Producers, and we are asking for your help to raise money for Mountview’s Scholarship Fund.

This June we are hosting View Festival, which is the culmination of our time and work at Mountview. We want to ‘pay it forward’ and gather funds for the future generations of artists who need financial aid to reach their full potential.

Why Do We Fundraise?

Despite national efforts to increase the accessibility of the arts, young creatives continuously struggle to enter the industry with confidence and financial stability.

In 2024, more students declined their places at Mountview on financial grounds than ever before. Young people should not be forced to give up on higher education in their chosen industry only due to financial hardship.

Mountview’s Scholarship Fund brings down financial barriers and actively contributes to making the industry more diverse, inclusive and representative of its audience. Every donation will help an aspiring creative on their journey.

Who Are We?

We are 12 creative producers who come from different places in the world, types of education and life experiences, but are united with the same flaming passion for performing arts and the artistic industry.

This June, we are producing 12 new shows relevant to the surrounding communities and platforming unconventional stories which contribute to making theatre relatable and accessible to the audience.

How Are We Encouraging Donations?

As part of View Festival, we will have a small selection of free wrap-around events open to the local community. We will be promoting our show around Peckham and the borough of Southwark, encouraging donations at each event and providing an option to make top-up donations on top of ticket sales to donate along performance ticket sales.

What we've raised so far: £

“I can honestly say without the assistance of the scholarship I do not know if I would have been able to be at Mountview right now. It has given me the chance to pursue my dreams without being burdened by financial difficulty and I am very grateful as such.”
