A nonsensical musical interactive adventure. 

Join Alice as she tumbles down a rabbit hole into Wonderland, where nothing makes sense. Share her encounters with the eccentric inhabitants of this very peculiar place. A family-friendly adventure for 7 years+, with lots of music and interaction. 

Please note that the seating for this production will consist of a mixture of sofas, benches and floor cushions and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Please contact the box office with any concerns or for more information.

Dan Herd

Director

Dan is Director of Public Performance at Mountview.

As a director, he worked at The Old Vic, Theatre Royal Haymarket, Soho Theatre, Theatre503, Arcola, Project Arts Centre and Smock Alley Theatre (Dublin), Latitude Festival, Edinburgh Fringe and Off-Broadway.

He was Artistic Associate at Soho Theatre. Previously for Mountview: Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Romeo and Juliet, Alice in Wonderland, The Wolves, King Lear, Hamlet, A Clockwork Orange, Boy, Six Characters in Search of an Author and Legally Blonde.

Daniel Jarvis

Composer & Musical Director

Daniel is a Mountview alum (MA Musical Direction) based in London and the Midlands and is heavily involved with new musical theatre writing, particularly with actor-musicianship.

He was MD on Oliver! (Aberystwyth), Marriage A La Mode (Chichester University), Oregano (LSMT), MD and orchestrator/arranger in developing The Return of the Soldier (Hope Mill Theatre), and is currently developing multiple projects.

He co-wrote, orchestrated and developed the London fringe hit Paper Hearts and is now working on upcoming productions of Deptford Wives as well as The Bow Maker – in collaboration with The National Theatre of Scotland.

New writing workshops include: Poppies, Plots, 1446: A Korean Musical, The Lost Ones, The Witches and the Singing Mice and Half-Broken Things.

His other professional credits include: Songs for a New World, Hello Again, Rent, Loserville, I Sing and Into the Woods.

Daniel is a Musical Supervisor for ‘Imagine Theatre’ and works on arrangements for pantomime productions.

Laura Weston

Choreographer

Laura is a dancer, choreographer and director. She works across dance, theatre and film.

Her latest film No Drinks on the Dance Floor has received nominations at LIFF in Leeds, Lisbon Screen Dance Festival and Birmingham Film Festival.

She is also performing internationally with Candoco Dance Company touring with Last Shelter by Jeanine Durning.

Laura has been involved in several production’s at Mountview and has previously collaborated with Dan Herd on Alice in Wonderland, King Lear and Hamlet, as well as teaching movement across programmes.

Frankie Gerrard

Set Designer

Frankie trained at LIPA.

Credits include: A Typical Rainbow (Turbine Theatre), The Girl of Ink and Stars (Watermill Theatre), Where We Stand (Blackheath Halls), The Collective (Rose Theatre), Perfectly Ordinary, The Pride, Proof and Things We Want (Hope Mill Theatre), Wilderness (LAMDA), How to Disappear Completely and Never be Found (Liverpool Playhouse), The Beau Defeated (HOME Theatre), Linda, Road (Manchester School of Acting) and We Happy Few (Manchester School of Acting).

Assistant and Associate credits include: Sister Act (UK tour), Love Never Dies (international tour), Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat (UK tour), Ragtime (ArtsEd), Sleepless in Seattle (Troubadour Theatre) and Skellig (Nottingham Playhouse).

Rhyannon Richardson

Set and Costume Designer

Rhyannon has been working in professional theatre for over 20 years, both as a set and costume designer and as a maker.

Much of her work has been with community groups, theatre in education and drama schools, but she has also designed for a wide range of both small and large scale productions and tours, including the Chester Mystery Plays.

She designs for events, festivals and theme parks, and works as a mural artist and illustrator.

She is also Design Facilitator here at Mountview.

Alex Musgrave

Lighting Designer

Alex has been nominated for an Off West End Award for Best Lighting Design for You are Here (Southwark Playhouse).

Alex was the recipient of the Association of Lighting Designers Lumiere Scheme.

Most recent design work includes: Home (Chichester Festival Theatre), The White Factory (Marylebone Theare), Private Lives (The Barn Theatre, Cirencester), The Cunning Little Vixen (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire), Rapunzel (Watermill Theatre), Anyone Can Whistle and You Are Here (Southwark Playhouse), Oppenheimer (Mountview), King Charles III and Let The Right One In (ArtsEd).

Matthew Giles

Sound Designer

Matthew has been a sound designer and engineer for the past 13 years, his work has taken him all over the world with shows ranging from Fringe Festivals, UK and international touring and the West End.

Credits include: Cabaret (The Playhouse), Death Drop (The Criterion), Hymn (Almeida), Alice in Wonderland (UK tour), 9 to 5 (Savoy), Young Frankenstein (Garrick), Thriller Live (Lyric), The Producers (international tour), Flashdance (UK tour), In the Heights and The Railway Children (King’s Cross Theatre), The Last Five Years (UK tour), Rent (Edinburgh Fringe).
