Run Sister Run

17 Jun

Sisters Connie and Ursula were once everything to each other. Years on, they’re almost strangers. Spanning over four decades, nurture competes with nature as the pair navigate their unbreakable bond. Run Sister Run is a witty and heartfelt story of family, class, dependence and Northern grit.

Elissa is a Northern Director and Actor from Barnsley, now based in London/Chesterfield. After Studying Acting at the University of Chichester, Elissa moved to London to complete her Masters in Theatre Directing at Mountview. Elissa is passionate about exploring feminist theatre and queer theatre through movement as well as putting northern women at the forefront of her work.

This play contains themes of drug and alcohol use, domestic violence and self harm and the use of strong language. Suitable for 16+ years.

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
