The quirky family first created by Charles Addams as cartoon characters became famous as a popular television show in the early 1970’s and then as a Hollywood movie in 1991. Here, they are brought back to life on stage in this irreverent sit-com turned musical.

Sophia is a set, costume and puppet designer.

She most recently designed How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Southwark Playhouse), Once (Barn Theatre) and Compositor E (Omnibus Theatre).

Ethan Cheek

Ethan is a Performance Design graduate (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama).

Design credits include: The Scar Test (LAMDA), Little Sweet Thing (LAMDA), The Bakers Wife (Playground Theatre), The Concrete Jungle Book (The Pleasance), Offie-nominated Rabbit Hole (The Union), The Bridges of Madison County (Quick Fantastic), Spring Awakening (RCSSD).

Alison Taylor

Set and Costume Designer

Alison trained in Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University and has worked in theatre and theatre production training ever since.

Her extensive career as a set and costume designer has included work for West Yorkshire Playhouse, Hull Truck Theatre, Perth Theatre, Bolton Octagon, and the role of Head of Design at Colchester Mercury Theatre.

Her work in higher education has included a decade working at East 15 Acting School as Deputy Director of Technical Theatre before joining Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in the role of Head of Design for another 10 years. Alison left Mountview last summer to focus on various creative and freelance projects.

Peter Harrison

Lighting Designer

Peter trained at RADA.

His Theatre credits include The Smeds and the Smoos (Tall Stories), A Singe Man (Park Theatre), Pink Mist (Bristol Old Vic), Macbeth (Stafford Festival Shakespeare), Translunar Paradise (Theatre Ad Infinitium), Chicago (Pimlico Opera), and Orestes (Shared Experience).

His Opera credits include Paul Bunyan (Welsh National Youth Opera), and Orpheus in the Underworld (Royal College of Music), and his lighting for Dance includes work for the Royal Ballet, Sadlers Wells and the Gartnerplatz Theatre, Munich.

Chris Murray

Sound Designer

Chris is a sound designer of musicals and plays.

His work includes: From Here to Eternity, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Love Letters, Ruff Tuff Cream Puff Estate Agency, The Great Murder Mystery, The Hired Man, and many more.

As an associate designer, he’s worked on international projects such as Kam Yama Kam and Miranda.

Previously Head of Sound at Theatre Royal Stratford East, Chris holds a degree in Sound, Light, and Live Event Technology from the University of Derby.
