1979. Three women are pushed to breaking point by their monstrous boss and decide to take the ultimate revenge. But when events begin to spiral and their crimes escalate, who will end up on top?

An unexpected, bold and dark new take on the hit Dolly Parton musical comedy, performed by our Musical Theatre students.

Dan Herd

Director

Dan is Director of Public Performance at Mountview.

As a director, he worked at The Old Vic, Theatre Royal Haymarket, Soho Theatre, Theatre503, Arcola, Project Arts Centre and Smock Alley Theatre (Dublin), Latitude Festival, Edinburgh Fringe and Off-Broadway.

He was Artistic Associate at Soho Theatre. Previously for Mountview: Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Romeo and Juliet, Alice in Wonderland, The Wolves, King Lear, Hamlet, A Clockwork Orange, Boy, Six Characters in Search of an Author and Legally Blonde.

Audra Cramer

Musical Director

Originally from Central New York, Audra worked as both a musical director and musical theatre performer in NYC and the regional US before moving to the UK in 2017. Last year she was Musical Director for the European premiere of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Hope Mill Theatre). She’ll next be returning to her role as Musical Supervisor/Musical Director on the UK tour of Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World.

Laura Weston

Choreographer

Laura is a dancer, choreographer and director. She works across dance, theatre and film.

Her latest film No Drinks on the Dance Floor has received nominations at LIFF in Leeds, Lisbon Screen Dance Festival and Birmingham Film Festival.

She is also performing internationally with Candoco Dance Company touring with Last Shelter by Jeanine Durning.

Laura has been involved in several production’s at Mountview and has previously collaborated with Dan Herd on Alice in Wonderland, King Lear and Hamlet, as well as teaching movement across programmes.

Sophia Pardon

Set and Costume Designer

Sophia designs sets, costumes and puppets and graduated with a distinction in MA in Theatre Design (Warwick). She was Iris Theatre’s Summer Season designer for both St Paul’s Church and their winter theatre space, The Pod. She was also a selected year-long resident at the NDT Broadgate Design Studio.

Other credits include: Daddy Issues (Seven Dials Playhouse), Offie-nominated The Moors (Hope Theatre), Clinton Baptiste (Hackney Empire/UK tour), to Make a Revolution (streamed via Finborough Theatre), Gorgon: A Horror Story (VAULTS Festival), Faustus (Queen Elizabeth Hall), Neck or Nothing (Pleasance Theatre), The Little Prince (Omnibus Theatre), Arthur and Merlin (St Paul’s Church), Dirty Hearts (Old Red Lion) and Carrie (Mountview).

Upcoming work includes Head Over Heels (Hope Mill Theatre).

Adam King

Lighting Designer

Adam is a Mountview alum.

Since graduating, he has gone on to be Assistant Lighting Designer on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Bend it Like Beckham in the West End.

His own design credits include: Flowers For Mrs Harris (Riverside Studios), Then Now & Next (Southwark Playhouse), We Need New Names (UK tour),Gone Too Far (Theatre Royal Stratford East), From Here to Eternity (Charing Cross Theatre), Flashdance (European tour), Snowflake/Tornado (UK tour/BBC), Robin Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin (Harlow Playhouse), The Nutcracker,Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast (New Theatre Royal Portsmouth), Mephisto Waltz and Swingle Stepping (Royal Opera House, Main Stage).

Matthew Giles

Sound Designer

Matthew has been a sound designer and engineer for the past 15 years, his work has taken him all over the world with shows ranging from fringe festivals, UK and international touring and the West End.

Credits include: Sister Act (UK tour), Cabaret (The Playhouse), Death Drop (The Criterion), Hymn (Almeida), Alice in Wonderland (UK tour), 9 to 5 (The Savoy), Young Frankenstein (The Garrick), Thriller Live (The Lyric), The Producers (international tour), Flashdance (UK and Ireland tour), In the Heights and The Railway Children (Kings Cross Theatre), The Last Five Years (UK tour) and Rent (Edinburgh Fringe).
