In a dystopian future hit by crippling drought, public toilets have become a privately controlled monopoly. Expect to pay big if you want to spend a penny – it’s now a privilege to pee. Tired of being crushed by corporations, a rebel faction revolts against the greed of their overlords and an unlikely couple will change things forever.

This ingenious, hilarious Tony-winning musical is given an even more meta spin by our Musical Theatre students in a wildly mischievous production.

URINETOWN was produced on Broadway in September, 2001 by the Araca Group and Dodger Theatricals in association with TheaterDreams, Inc., and Lauren Mitchell

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International. All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI. mtishows.co.uk

Duration: 2 hours 10 minutes (including a 20-minute interval)

Urinetown: The Musical features themes of violence, dictatorship, stage blood, stage weaponry and strobe lighting.
